Immediate positions available for Direct Care Staff (DCS) person for a 6-bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) located in Lodi. The DCS person is responsible for providing high-quality assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Provide functional skills training, supervision, physical assistance and guidance to residents in a variety of areas and settings including personal hygiene, daily living tasks, toileting, socialization, communication, eating, all ISP Objectives, etc.
Provide supervision and training during community integration outings and social events.
Provide and participate actively in documentation pertaining to residents' care.
Attend meetings as asked by QIDP, RN, or Administrator as needed.
Ensure all rights of the resident are protected as outlined in Title(s) 22 and 17.
Attend all required training and seminars as required by administration.
Required to attend a total of 36 hours In-service training annually.
Assist in the development of weekly or monthly facility activity schedules.
Light Housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, laundry, cleaning dishes, making beds, cleaning kitchen and bathroom.
Requirements:
Must have work authorization for USA (Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification).
Must be able to pass a criminal background check (Live Scan BCIA 8016).
TB Test (negative PPD result or clear chest x-ray)
First Aid and CPR Certification
Computer experience is a plus.
Weekdays and Weekends preferable, part-time, variable hours.
