Are you someone who loves to cook and finds joy in feeding others? Do you miss running a kitchen but don’t want the pressure of restaurant life anymore? We’re a small, fast-paced, family-run trucking company with multiple home-based operations and in-home staff — and we’re looking for a reliable, self-sufficient Household Chef for our property to help bring healthy, home-cooked Resteraunt quality meals and organization back into our kitchen with a fast paced life.
This is a perfect opportunity for an inspired chef, or retired chef, home cook, or second-job seeker who enjoys structure, takes pride in their cooking, and wants to contribute meaningfully to a busy, close-knit environment.
What You’ll Do:
Run our home kitchen like a calm, well-oiled machine, taking ownership and responsibility for its operation.
Prepare 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for family and select staff members.
Set out snacks, prepare next-day grab-and-go items, and keep meals organized for all schedules, we operate 24 hours a day at times.
Handle grocery shopping (reimbursed or company card provided) and simple meal planning with menu or schedule.
Keep kitchen stocked, clean, and welcoming — basic pantry management staple items and ingredient. Shop for the meals to make plan etc
Accommodate basic dietary needs (healthy-style American, Mexican, rustic BBQ/hotel lobby restaurant-style Cuisine preferred)
Who You Are:
A great cook with love for nourishing others
Retired or semi-retired, or just looking for a meaningful full time flexible cooking job
Punctual, dependable, and organized with a calm presence and good communication.
Comfortable working in a family home with kids, staff, and a lot of moving parts throughout the day.
Flexible and understanding of a high-energy, multitasking environment
Doesn’t mind being around a homeschool family, business operations, and a full household
Health-conscious and focused on hearty, clean gourmet nourishing meals
Schedule & Pay:
Per diem/as-needed (ideally 5 days/week depending on your availability and our needs)
Work hours usually 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM or split shifts possible
Pay: $16–$23/hr depending on verifiable cooking job experience
Reimbursed expenses or issued shopping card for groceries
Flexible around your lifestyle — we’ll work with you if you’re the right fit
