Description This role is for a Sr. Accountant, with a focus on account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment arrangement. Responsibilities: Execute account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and conformity to standard accounting practices. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and provide detailed reports on findings. Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial records are up-to-date. Manage the general ledger and assist in the preparation of financial statements. Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end close process. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting processes. Help resolve any discrepancies or issues relating to the accounting function.Requirements Proven proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. Extensive experience in managing general ledger and creating journal entries. Excellent command of Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated experience in performing month-end close procedures. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
