Mammography Technologistopening in Stockton, California, $3308.00 per week! Hours: 40 Start Date: 01/01/2024 $3308.00 weekly includes (lodging $980.00 &meals/incidentals $518.00) Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a MammographyTechnologist to perform a variety of technical activities associated withthe performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
Explains mammography procedure to all patients; answers any patient questions or concerns
Positions patients, using immobilization when necessary. Calculate exposure factors, assist physicians.
Perform the quality control functions related to mammography.
Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality obtaining additional images as needed.
Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate. Explain procedures to patients.
Develop mammography film. Match with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
Charge mammography procedures and supplies to the patient's medical record.
Assist in maintenance and compilation of statistical data
Adheres to all Maxim and worksite rules, policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
MinimumRequirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology Program.
Current State License or Certificate, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
Two (2) years of experience as a Mammography preferred.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to accurately communicate with patients
Current BLS card.
Successful completion of testing process.
Current physical exam, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
Current TB test or chest x-ray.
General Comments: 704828
Musthave ARRT (M) and CA License, 2 year experience required.
