Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling statements, and maintaining vendor relationships in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently within established timelines.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of payments.
Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
Review and verify expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and improve processes related to accounts payable.
Maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
