Self-Storage facility in Lodi seeking part-time Relief Manager.
The responsibility of the Relief Manager is to efficiently manage and maintain the property, on the manager’s days off. This includes maximizing occupancy and revenues by renting all available space to customers, collection of rent and fees, and maintaining property appearance.
Essential Duties
- Open and close the office each business day.
- Show and rent spaces. Must be able to sweep out unit(s) as needed, must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Provide superior service at all times by handling customer inquiries or problems in a timely and courteous manner.
- Answer telephone calls and provide assistance to all tenants and merchandise customers.
- Responsible for daily mailings.
- Filing leases and reports of current and vacated tenants.
- Sell merchandise as needed.
- Wear standard Company approved uniform during work hours.
- Empty trash in the office, and restrooms at the end of each day. Wipe the counters and clean the front office door. Vacuum all floors. Check bathroom through out the day; maintain bathroom cleanliness.
- Must be able to work efficiently with computers and Window based programs. Must be able to write, send and retrieve email.
- Assist/perform light Maintenance duties as needed to keep the property at company standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outgoing personality
- Able to work with minimal supervision; initiative
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must
- Willing to take the time to listen to the customer and provide outstanding customer service.
- Able to explain and sell company products
- Able to follow company policies
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check
