GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity for an AWS Software Developer in San Francisco, CA This would be a Six to Twelve month contract to star out. This Position requires to work onsite a couple of days a week(Hybrid work onsite model, currently in the office). Job Description:As a software developer in Regulatory and Corporate Technology you will act as the primary developer for Information Security (InfoSec) applications. You will lead various application development efforts working with cross-functional teams to deliver major strategic initiatives. Responsibilities:-Serve as a subject matter expert for the Information Security team, working primarily on software development tasks.-Understand and deliver business requirements and enhancements.-Build critical working relationships with stakeholders and teams.-Develop, test, implement, and troubleshoot applications working in coordination with cross-functional teams (e.g. Information Security and Information Services).-Contribute as a team player on one or more project teams by offering technical and business knowledge, support, and guidance to ensure that work can progress smoothly-Fully document application development that would bear scrutiny by an internal audit or external regulators.-Follow best practices, e.g. SDLC. Qualifications:-Proven working experience as a software developer with the following experience: AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM), AWS Lambda, AWS Lamba debugging, AWS DynamoDB, AWS SNS and SQS, and Python.-Familiarity with DNS-Strong Analytical skills with attention to detail.-Experience of working with Jira tool.-Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or equivalent.-Resilience and commitment during periods of uncertainty and change.-Able to work effectively as part of a team.-Strong written and verbal communication skills.-Able to rapidly acquire a sound high-level understanding of new business and technical domains.-Understanding of SDLC and Agile Techniques.-Ability to document, establish and adhere to standards including source control, software configuration.-AWS Certified Developer Associate preferred or Cloud certifications nice-to-have.-Other duties as assigned. Job demands:-Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.-Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
