Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Soquel, California. This role is within the telecom industry and will require the successful candidate to manage the company's financial obligations using various software tools. The workplace is fast-paced and demands a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.Responsibilities: Manage financial obligations and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner. Maintain financial databases, conducting account reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies. Process and track invoices using QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Sheets. Prepare analyses of accounts and produce regular financial reports. Handle invoice processing and check runs. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and SAP. Ensure coding of invoices is done accurately and efficiently. Utilize Microsoft Excel for record keeping and data analysis. Requirements Prior experience of 3 or more years in the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar finance role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices is essential Ability to handle Invoice Processing efficiently Strong skills in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data Experience with QuickBooks for managing accounts and financial transactions Knowledge of SAP for business process management Demonstrable ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
