Description We are in search of a diligent and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our Client's team in Sonoma, California. This role will serve as the supporting hand to the Controller, with a focus on Family office accounting. The Sr. Family Office Accountant will be expected to demonstrate extensive knowledge of QuickBooks, as this is instrumental in managing our company entities. Responsibilities include: Acting as the right-hand person to the Controller to ensure smooth operations Utilizing in-depth knowledge of Family office accounting to manage financial tasks Operating QuickBooks for daily accounting duties, while demonstrating knowledge of the Yardi platform Handling high-touch accounting tasks for High-net-worth Principal Performing account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations Managing the general ledger and preparing journal entries Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Performing month-end close procedures Operating QuickBooks Enterprise for specific accounting functions Using Yardi for various accounting and financial management tasksRequirements Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required Must have a solid understanding of General Ledger management Should be adept at making Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary Must have experience in Month End Close processes Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise software is essential Proficiency in Yardi software is required Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information is required Must have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Should possess a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.For immediate consideration, please call Amanda Howell at 707-578-3355.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
