Developmental Services Aide - Physical Therapy

JOB SUMMARY:Under the direct supervision of a licensed care practitioner, provides and documents clinical care and associated tasks as assigned. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care is provided in a quality environment to patients and families. Utilizes appropriate age and developmental approach in application of care.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma, GED or Foreign equivalentCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHAThose staff assisting with the provision of direct Audiology and/or Speech Pathology services must be registered with the State of California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board within three months of hire datePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in OT/PT/Speech/Audiology1 year of experiencePediatric experience in inpatient, outpatient or long-term care settingBi-lingual English/SpanishAdvanced knowledge of medical terminology; experience with data entry and clinical computer systemsThe expected hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $27.50Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
