We are looking for a delivery driver to deliver water tanks throughout California. The delivery truck is a 1 Ton Dodge manual transmission 4x4 truck with a lift bed.
You will be responsible for:
+ Being on time - all the time.
+ Securing the load and driving in a safe manner following ALL highway laws.
+ Sitting for long periods of time. Climbing tanks upon delivery.
+ Transporting wide loads with a trailer and trailer backing.
+ Safely operating on highway and off road back country deliveries.
+ Climbing a ladder to access the top of the tanks upon delivery. We will certify you on proper fall protection equipment which is a non negotiable condition of employment.
+ Demonstrating situational awareness at all times.
Overtime is to be expected during busy times. Some overnights are to be expected. (Deliveries as far as San Diego)
Must have a clean class c driver's license and be able to communicate directly with customers.
Must pass background check and submit to random drug testing.
We would like to find a long term employee. Pay raises after probationary period of satisfactory performance.
Paid days and sick leave.
Pay starting $22/hr. Plus overtime and bonuses.
