JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Final Mile Local Delivery Drivers and co-pilots are responsible for completing daily deliveries of furniture, appliances, and large items throughout San Luis Obispo County. Drivers operate pre-loaded box trucks, making multiple stops to deliver and place items in customers' homes or businesses. This position requires physical strength, a professional attitude, with an emphasis on customer service, and a strong attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for driving insurance
Must have a clean DMV record (driving position only)
Prior delivery, moving, or customer-facing experience is a major plus
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be reliable, self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic
Mechanically inclined – good with basic tools
Physical ability to lift and move large furniture and appliances
These physical activities are essential to the job: standing, walking, lifting, carrying heavy items, pushing, bending, and reaching
Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
Zero-tolerance for substance use including marijuana
