Madrone Landscape designs and builds high-level landscape projects throughout the Central Coast of California. At the heart of our operation is our sales and design team. Our design office is a collaborative space where our sales and design team plan, sell, and assist in managing our construction staff as they construct award winning outdoor spaces.
Here’s what you’d do:
The Landscape Designer’s role is to consult with potential design clients, sell design work, and produce high quality landscape designs. As designs are completed, you will assist our sales and estimating team as they turn your designs into construction work. Our projects range from landscape renovations to new construction for both residential and commercial clients. As with any good design gig, you will be asked to help with graphics and marketing from time to time.
You might be a good fit if you have:
A minimum of 1-2 years professional experience in Landscape Design.
A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
Strong design and graphic skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
High quality verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of local plant material.
Skills in hand drawn graphics and rendering.
Knowledge of construction and hardscape materials.
Great vibes and a positive, can-do attitude.
(This is an entry-level position working under our licensed landscape architect, however candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply)
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation that is based on skill level and experience, starting in the $25-$30/HR range. In addition to your hourly pay, you may also qualify for:
