McGuire Grinding INC, a family-owned machine shop, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Machine Shop Operator to join our team. We’re looking for someone reliable, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a hands-on environment. No prior experience required—just a strong work ethic and a passion for building skills in precision machining

What We Need:
1. Reliability: Show up on time, every day, ready to work
2. Eagerness to Learn: Excited to learn machining skills and take on new challenges
3. Work Ethic: Motivated, proactive, and able to follow instructions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (or working toward it)
Basic math skills for shop tasks (we’ll teach you the rest)
Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and work well with a team
Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand 90-100% of the shift
Independence: Able to retain training and work with minimal supervision over time
Job Duties:
1. Assist with setting up and operating machines (e.g., centerless grinders)
2. Learn to use tools like micrometers, calipers, and comparitors for quality checks
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
4. Show up on time and stay engaged in learning and contributing
