Michael Frederick Paving Corporation is looking to hire an experienced and skilled diesel equipment mechanic who has experience working with the following:
Work Trucks
Heavy Haul Transport
Dump Trucks and Trailers
All Field Construction Equipment
Roles and responsibilities of this position:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs
Communicate with management to facilitate and maximize production of shop repairs and maintenance
Coordinate the scheduling and monitoring of repairs
Ensure repairs and maintenance work is conducted in a timely and efficient manner
Track and log all repairs, parts and maintenance
Parts and services procurement
Ensure safety and reliability of vehicles and equipment
Qualified applicants must possess the ability to:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
Lift 50 lbs+ daily and endure continuous crouching, bending, stooping, kneeling and turning
Endure long periods of standing
Work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Read and interpret documents such as safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions
Effectively communicate - verbal and written
Accurately and legibly record all required activities on company forms.
Perform assigned duties under supervision including maintaining parts inventory and a clean shop

Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
This position pays between $55,000 - $70,000 annually with benefits available after probationary period.
