Expanding High end Custom Cabinet shop is seeking to add an experienced Installer. We service the highest end of the market and adhere to the highest standards in the Business. The work is fun and challenging. The end product is truly remarkable and something to be proud of. We design, build, pre-finish and Install our own cabinetry. The successful candidate will posses the following attributes.
-Able to read and understand plans and measurements.
-Installs Cabinetry Perfectly Plumb, level and straight along a long run.
-Is always reliable to show up to work on time every day.
-Able to successfully Scribe in finished end panels, under skins, crown, base and wood tops to irregular and wonky floors, walls and ceilings. We strive to get the gaps so tight a human hair can not be inserted anywhere and caulking is not necessary.
-Can create templates to install wood tops and floating shelves that can be locked in on three sides.
-Has a good mechanical mind to install and work with the latest hardware contraptions on the market. Automatic Blum Aventos systems, multiple types of pocketing door systems, Blind corner pullout systems and the like.
-Has great problem solving skills and can implement fixes and work a rounds when needed.
-Loves the work, the challenge and coming in every day to make the magic happen.
-Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area and Company Install truck.
-Maintains a running job punch list of items needed for job completion.
-Will not take shortcuts or hide boo boos that need to be fixed.
-Willing to work overtime when needed.
-Works well with Co workers, Contractors, Clients and other Tradesman onsite. Represents the Company well.
-Can work carefully and conscientiously with our pre-finished cabinetry and other trades finished surfaces in a house.
-Able to assist in the shop from time to time if needed.
-Willing and able to work on complex Custom projects.
-Has good touch up skills. Good, tight, residue free caulking abilities.
-Keeps our cabinets clean, dust free and smudge free.
-Works independently and respects Company time.
-Able to lift and maneuver heavy cabinetry safely and without getting hurt, with the use of Cabinet Jacks and the like.
-Will call in for man power when it is unsafe to move something too heavy for one person.
