We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our salon team. As a Hair Stylist Assistant or Cosmetology Apprentice , you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and provide exceptional hair services to our valued clients. You will start along side one of our MASTER Stylist helping with daily tasks as on the job training. We will guide you through our education system preparing you to build and maintain your business here at our salon. We are here to help you grow, accomplish goals and maintain your clients. If you are passionate about hair styling and have a strong desire to create beautiful looks, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Provide a wide range of hair education regarding services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. As well has building your business, goal setting and maintaining your clientele.
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling with our regular salon education provided.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and products
-Complete the salons training as a path way to become a confident Hair Stylist
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license
-(IF NOT LICENSED) We can provide a path way with apprenticeship to gain your license.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist
- Proficient in retail math for product sales
- Knowledge of color theory and various coloring techniques
- Familiarity with salon software for scheduling and client management
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to be mentored with master stylist
