Family Care Network, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to become Therapeutic Parents through their specialized Therapeutic Parent Program. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to positively impact youth who have experienced trauma and adversity.
Program Overview:
Purpose: Provide family-based treatment to high-needs foster youth to prevent placement in group homes or psychiatric hospitals
Role: Therapeutic Parents offer one-on-one support, implement behavioral interventions, and collaborate as part of a behavioral health treatment team
Support: Includes weekly clinical supervision and increased financial reimbursement
Key Details:
Placement Length: Up to 30, 60, or 90 days (not exceeding 90 days)
Reimbursement:
$200 per night per child (when child is placed)
$55/day for completed Medi-Cal case notes
$100 per night (when no child is placed)
Requirements:
Experience with high-needs youth
Ability to be a full-time, stay-at-home foster parent
Live in SLO County with reliable transportation
Maintain a safe and therapeutic home with a dedicated bedroom
Pass background checks and complete required training
Work effectively within a team
