Well established, high quality sign, vehicle wrap and large format graphics company is seeking an ON-SITE part-time to full-time sign/graphic design and production team member. Remote workers need not respond. Proficiency in Adobe CS and most importantly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required. ALL applicants considered for position will be tested and paid at company expense for software proficiency.
Strong typography, color theory and layout skills are needed. Experience with the large format printing process and file prep is preferred.
Ability to accept art direction, constructive critique and creative input from owners and clients is expected.
You must possess the skills to work in a variable environment with good multi-tasking ability. Interacting with and assisting clients is an integral part of the job. File organization skills and computer proficiency are expected. Hand tool, vinyl preparation and application knowledge and willingness to learn additional skills are essential to be considered for the position.
The position is a combination of a graphic design position and production work. Assisting with simple, mostly ground level installations of vinyl graphics, signs and production of other signs in the shop and occasionally on location is required.
Experience in a sign, graphics or large format print work environment is necessary.
We design, build and install signs, graphics and other print materials of many types. Proficiency with hand tools, rulers, measuring devices and the ability to follow verbal and written directions are needed. This a great opportunity to help create functional, effective signs, vehicle graphics and displays.
Hours can vary depending on workload ranging up to full time. Rare overtime if necessary may be requested with advance notice but not demanded. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. without limitation.
