Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Music Marketing Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will play an integral role in promoting the music and brand of our artist, while gaining hands-on experience in the music industry. This internship will involve working directly with the marketing team and other departments to support promotional efforts, coordinate live shows, manage merchandise sales, and maintain a strong social media presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandise Sales: Assist in setting up, selling, and promoting artist merchandise at live shows and events.
Show Booking: Help research, identify, and secure potential venues for live performances; assist in coordinating logistics for booked shows, including contracts, scheduling, and travel arrangements.
Music Marketing: Collaborate on campaigns to promote new music releases across various platforms, including streaming services, social media, and email newsletters.
Social Media Management: Manage and create content for the artist’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with fans across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
Audience Engagement: Respond to fan inquiries, messages, and comments, fostering community-building and enhancing the fan experience.
Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging promotional content, including graphics, videos, and promotional posts for shows and new music releases.
Collaborate on Marketing Strategies: Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute innovative campaigns to drive visibility and engagement for the artists.
Qualifications:
Strong passion for music and the music industry.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Previous experience with social media management, event coordination, or marketing is a plus.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
