Job Title: Associate Attorney
Location: Remote or Office in San Luis Obispo. Must be available to travel to SLO for trial.

Overview:
The Bailey Law Firm seeks a motivated civil litigation attorney with exceptional writing, research, and communication skills to join our team as an Associate Attorney. This role involves assisting the managing attorney in various legal matters and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and prepare documents
- Appear in court and conduct depositions
- Draft complex pleadings, motions, and demand letters
- Perform timekeeping and case management tasks
- Correspond with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Ensure timely filings and ethical representation
- Develop and implement cost-saving and cost-effective legal solutions for clients
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient with judicial council forms, Microsoft Suite, and Odyssey eFile CA
- Skilled in Google Drive and Google Docs collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience drafting complex legal documents
- Familiarity with reviewing financial records
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Independent initiative and effective team collaboration
- Strong client interaction skills
Pay:
Compensation is based on experience. $85,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year DOE, including paid vacation, health benefits, and 401k
