We are seeking a Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance of our properties. This includes but is not limited to lifting and carrying heavy objects, operating power tools, digging trenches, cleaning up debris, removing and installing fencing, irrigation, tiling, weed abatement, planting crops, and other manual labor tasks. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a similar role, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working outdoors. This work is done in an outdoor setting and candidates must be okay with working in all various weather temperatures/conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistent attendance on scheduled days
Operate loader, power equipment, and hand tools safely and correctly
General laborer tasks such as lifting/carrying equipment and materials
Follow all policies and procedures
Play an active role in creating a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment
Complete all mandatory internal training
While working collaboratively, follows instructions and continuously improves personal job duties based on individual's strengths
Must have reliable transportation
Must be dependable
Must report to the job site on time
Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety
Follow safety rules and work in a safe manner
Environment and Physical Demands:
Regularly exposed to outdoor on-site work in remote settings
Standing, walking, writing, and reading
Heavy lifting
Loading and/or unloading materials
Work in all weather conditions
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age.
Background Check Following a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start to work with Madrone Holdings. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may result in the withdrawal of the offer of employment.
Preferred Experience: Fencing, weed abatement, mechanical aptitude, irrigation, construction, and troubleshooting skills.
Dress Code/PPE Requirements - Pants (no cuts/holes), Long sleeve shirt (no cuts/holes).
