Our client, a large and reputable bakery in San Luis Obispo, has an immediate need for entry level 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Production Helpers to join the team on a full-time, temporary basis through July 2024.
This is a contracted position expected to last for the next 4-5 months, with the potential to work 50+ hrs/wk
Job Title: Production Helper
Pay Rate: $17.25/hr
Schedule:
We have openings on several shifts, from 1st-3rd. Shift options are below, and are available on a first come, first apply basis.
FIRST SHIFT: 2:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Saturday
SECOND SHIFT (A): 1030am-730pm, Monday-Saturday
SECOND SHIFT (B) : 2:00 pm - 2:30 am, Sunday-Friday
THIRD SHIFT: 6:00 pm - 2:30 am , Tuesday-Sunday
Candidate must be flexible to overtime as needed to work 10-12 hours on shifts where necessary
Duties:
- Production Helper will perform various duties including, Machine Operator, Mixer, Oven Operator, Pan Setter, Trayer, etc.
- Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
- Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.
Skills needed:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
