Hands on job helping install pre-fab fireplaces. This is a specialized field with training included.
The following skills and abilities are needed:
Mechanical ability with knowledge of hand tools
Problem solving skills
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
Able to take direction and work as a team member
Ability to be at work Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 full-time position (some overtime)
Physically able to lift 60-100 lbs
Willing to work
Must not be afraid of working at heights
Forden's is a family owned local company that has been in business for over 80 years. We have a good reputation in the community. We expect our fireplace installers to be honest and hard working. Many of our employees, including fireplace installers, are long term employees. We are looking for fireplace installers who are interested in being trained and learning the industry. There is room to grow in the company. Other positions include lead installer and service technician.
