My company is hiring hourly employees to clean short term vacation rentals. We are a fast paced, extremely busy company that cleans multiple vacation rentals daily. PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION.
It pays $24/ hour to start and will go up depending on your abilities & availability.
Requirements:
- Your own car
- Flexibility and Ability to go with the flow; sometimes we get last minute bookings or cancellations & the schedule can change.
- Relatively open availability; Sundays and Mondays are musts, as that’s when the majority of our guests check out. I have work every day, and would prefer someone who has an open schedule.
- Can take constructive criticism; there are learning curves along the way. Your willingness to learn is appreciated and will be rewarded with more work and higher pay.
- Eagerness to make money; I pay daily via venmo (or weekly if preferred). If something pops up for the next day, I need someone who wants to work and make money.
- A smart phone - photos required at the end of each clean
- Good communication - I need to know when you arrive at a property, we need documentation of any issues for the homeowners and property managers; this is more than just cleaning, we are their eyes and ears of the properties. Can require checking appliances, restocking supplies, checking propane levels, etc.
- Somewhat of a keen eye for design; not required, but a lot of our clients prefer their homes to be ‘staged’ a certain way for incoming guests, for example pillows in a certain way, towels folded a certain way, decor put back / styled a certain way, etc. (more than just cleaning).
- Reliability is EXTREMELY important. If you are someone who bails last minute, this won’t be for you. We have guests that check out at 11am and people that are checking back in the same day at 4pm, so if you can’t make it, we don’t have much wiggle room for coverage.
Looking for people in the Paso area as well as Five Cities; someone who would be willing to drive to both is a bonus!
Vacation rental experience is a plus but willing to train the right person. Paid training. Reimbursement for supplies.
