Assisted living facility with 23 residents looking for a weekend Med Supervisor to join our team.
The primary (and minimum) duty for this position involves setting up resident medications for the weekend with consistent, accurate documentation. For the prospective employee looking for more hours and responsibility other duties are available and may include: follow up on resident concerns, adjust resident care plans as needed, handle scheduling issues, host tours for prospective residents, communicate with families, etc. As the Weekend Med Supervisor, you may be required to be on-call (reachable by phone) after your shift for one or more of the weekends you work for additional pay.
Shifts may vary from 2-6 hours depending on circumstances and employee preference. Start times can be flexible as well but will preferably be in the mornings. You must have experience working in a long-term care facility and handling medications. You will act as a forward-facing member of the care team while on-duty and are expected to act accordingly. The position may occasionally require driving the facility car (rarely, but it’s a possibility) so a California driver license and a clean DMV record may be required.
