About Us: Social Skills for Life is a leading Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company based San Luis Obispo County, dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with Autism and other developmental needs. We're looking for passionate and compassionate individuals to join our ABA Therapy practice, where you can contribute to the growth and development of our clients while gaining valuable experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

As an ABA Therapist at Social Skills for Life, you will have the opportunity to:

-Work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis interventions in a clinical setting.

-Provide ABA therapy in the comfort of the client's home, fostering trust, skill development, and behavioral management through data-driven interventions.

-Maintain attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of data collected across all behavioral intervention goals.

-Build strong rapport and trust with clients and their families.

-Adapt seamlessly to different family cultures and align with the values and goals of each client to ensure their success in meeting ABA Goals.

-Cultivate a calm and neutral demeanor, creating a positive and rewarding learning and therapeutic environment.

-Show a genuine interest in expanding your knowledge and understanding of ABA interventions and the science of behavior.

-Demonstrate punctuality and professionalism in all aspects of your role.

-Collaborate effectively as a team player, working in tandem with colleagues and BCBA professionals.

Additional Job Requirements:

In addition to the above responsibilities, we seek candidates who meet the following criteria:

-Pursuing a degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields (preferred).

-Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

-Exhibit a prompt and courteous response to phone and email inquiries.

-Possess the physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs. and maintain mobility to keep up with our energetic young clients.

-Hold a valid driver's license, maintain a good driving record, and have vehicle insurance with reliable transportation.

-Successfully pass a background check and obtain DOJ clearance.
