Position: Overnight Shift Caregiver
Job Description:
As an overnight shift caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities residing in our group homes during the late hours. Your responsibilities will encompass:
Ensuring that all clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
Serving as a mandated reporter and promptly reporting any signs of potential abuse.
Familiarizing yourself with the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and objectives of each client.
Implementing training and interventions in alignment with the ISP and behavioral treatment plan.
Delivering high-quality, data-driven client training.
Collaborating with the administrator to report on client progress and address any program-related issues.
Maintaining precise and timely records and other designated documentation.
Assisting with client transportation to and from day programs, work, medical appointments, community outings, and more.
Aiding clients in self-administering prescribed medications and treatments following proper training.
Actively participating in staff meetings and in-service sessions as required.
Creating and preserving a safe, normalized, and healthy home environment.
Collaborating harmoniously with supervisors and fellow staff members.
Serving as a role model for appropriate behavior and social interactions across all settings.
Assisting with the physical needs of the clients.
Ensuring completion of chores such as cooking, cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
Carrying out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 18 years.
Successful completion of a background check, physical ability examination, and negative TB test.
