Seeking a household assistant for a gentleman who had a stroke and has lost mobility. The duties would include picking up and delivering meals, assisting in giving medication, and light house cleaning. The ideal candidate would have some experience with in-home care and be able to handle an occasional minor emergency situation. He needs very minimal assistance. Compensation depends on experience.
We are looking to cover the following shifts, and preferably be available for coverage of shifts as other caretakers need time off: (if you are only interested in some shifts, but not all, please still apply)
Friday 4:30pm-8:30pm
Saturday 6:30am-11:00am
Saturday 4:30pm-8:30pm
Sunday 6:30am-11:00am
Sunday 4:30pm-8:30pm
The gentleman was very independent before the stroke and continues to enjoy his space. He has a great, sarcastic, funny personality, and prefers to spend his days in his home with little interaction. This would be a great opportunity for an individual who is physically strong, self motivated, and has a good sense of humor.
Honesty and reliability are crucial to this role
