Brightwood Dental is seeking a full-time Office Manager.

Principal Duties AND Responsibilities:

-Lead by example and coach team to provide exceptional patient experiences.

-Create, establish and manage internal office protocols and procedures to ensure office efficiency.

-Evaluate and review office production and procedures to develop new ways to improve efficiency with office operations, patient retention, and profitability.

-Maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports dentists and hygienists.

-Manage accounts receivables including timely and accurate insurance claim processing.

-Schedule team members to ensure adequate shift coverage and facilitate requests for time off.

-Provide the Dentist with administrative and practical support when asked.

-Assist in the interviewing, on-boarding and training of new hires.

-Train, develop and performance manage staff to meet performance standards.

-Communicate with office team regularly to ensure they have the information, tools, and support needed to perform their jobs effectively and successfully.

-Respond to doctor, patient and employee grievances, complaints, and inquiries and seek assistance when necessary.

-Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA.

Education AND Experience:

-Minimum 1-2 years of dental office management or supervisory experience required.

-Prior experience with dental management software, Dentrix preferred but not required

-Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols.

-Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis.
