I am seeking a female companion/helper to carry my groceries, assist with my laundry and go to San Luis Obispo, to Trader Joe's, Petsmart, and Costco on occasion.
I am a female, young in spirit, happy, and kind, in my 70's with heart issues. Need someone who will use their car, however, who will be compensated for wear and tear and gas, since my cars air conditioning does not work. You need to live in Morro Bay, Los Osos or Cayucos, since we will be going to San Luis Obispo.
I receive In Home Support Services, IHHS, from the County and have 60 hrs a month . You will receive $18.65/HR approximately $1,120 per month. My situation requires very few hours per month, however, you would receive 60 hr to cover the cost of your car usage and gas. I can explain in detail after we agree on a time to meet in person.
You would have to sign up with IHHS which takes about 2 weeks for them to process your application, fingerprints take a week, however, you WILL get paid rectroactively. If you prefer, you may wait until all the paperwork is complete.
The County pays from the 1st of the month till the 15th, and the second pay period is from the 16th till the 30th or 31st.
In order to save you time engery, and gas I ask that you live nearby since it would not be to your benefit to drive from SLO, Atascadero, Paso, A.G. etc all the way to Morro Bay, then to SLO and then back to Morro Bay to take me home and then back to your location. That is why, I am looking out for both you and myself, because it has been a problem in the past for SLO residents with the driving situation. Once again, I would need your help about 3-4 hrs once a week but you would receive 30 hrs compensation for 15 days or 60hrs per month.
