Tea Store Manager

We are opening a tea store in Morro Bay, CA and are looking for a manager. This person will also grow with the company. The owner has high growth vision.

Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Tea Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our tea shop. You'll foster a welcoming environment, lead our team with enthusiasm, and ensure an exceptional experience for every customer. This isn't just a management role - you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our growth strategy and shape the future of our business.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of passionate tea enthusiasts. Motivate your team to provide outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales goals.

Operations Excellence: Oversee all daily operations, including opening/closing, inventory management, supply ordering, and ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting shop environment.

Quality Control: Enforce standards for tea preparation, beverage consistency, and food quality. Maintain a thorough understanding of our menu and be able to train new staff.

Customer Connection: Uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service, resolving issues, and building relationships with regulars.

Financial Oversight: Manage daily sales reporting, labor costs, and take steps to maximize profitability within your store.

Growth Mindset: Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase sales, and suggest new menu items or promotions.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service/retail, with 1+ year in a supervisory role.

Demonstrated passion for tea, coffee, or specialty beverages.

Strong leadership skills and a knack for staff motivation.

Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.

Organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.

Food handling certification a plus.
