SOUS CHEF-
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our leadership team. The Sous Chef will work alongside the Executive Chef to help drive culinary excellence, operational efficiency, and team culture. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for Mexican cuisine, a fine dining mindset, and strong leadership skills in a high-performance kitchen.
Responsibilities
-Partner with the Executive Chef to execute a seasonal, regionally inspired Mexican menu with a modern perspective.
-Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
-Oversee mise en place, prep standards, and service execution to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
-Support the development and training of kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
-Maintain kitchen systems and uphold sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards exceeding DOH requirements.
-Monitor inventory, manage food costs, and contribute to supplier relationships with a focus on premium ingredients.
-Collaborate on new dish development and menu innovation aligned with our aspirations.
-Support leadership in achieving financial, quality, and service goals.
Qualifications
-Minimum 3–5 years of progressive kitchen leadership experience, with at least 1–2 years as Sous Chef or equivalent.
-Proven track record in highly regarded, chef-driven restaurants — experience with Michelin-recognized kitchens a plus.
-Deep knowledge of and passion for Mexican cuisine, culinary traditions, and regional ingredients.
-Strong foundation in kitchen management, team building, and mentoring.
-Exceptional organizational skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
-Clear communication and collaboration with front-of-house and leadership team.
-Commitment to excellence, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $75,000.00)
