We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Shoreline Inn, a 30 unit family owned and operated beachfront inn. In this position, you will play an important role in maintaining the overall appearance and operation of the hotel. The maintenance technician needs to be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of tasks. We pride ourselves in providing guests with a memorable and relaxing experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance tasks such repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units
Assist with minor repairs and renovations to ensure hotel meets safety and aesthetic standards
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance issues
Maintain the grounds and take pride in their upkeep
Shampoo carpets and touch-up paint as necessary
Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff in a timely and courteous manner
Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure guest satisfaction
30+ hours/week
REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, painting
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
