United Staffing Associates is excited to partner with a successful winery and restaurant in search of a Line Cook to join their dynamic kitchen team for the busy summer season. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is available to work weekends but prefers a day shift schedule – keep your evenings free!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook delicious dishes by following recipes and utilizing various cooking methods such as grilling and frying.
Set up and stock cook stations with all necessary supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
Properly use and maintain all kitchen equipment to uphold safety and quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
Proven cooking skills with prior experience in a restaurant setting, particularly in preparing hot meals using different methods.
Availability to work on weekends.
A valid Food Handler Card or the willingness to complete the training to obtain one.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and efficient interaction within the kitchen.
Reliable and responsible attendance to maintain consistent kitchen operations.

Starting Pay Rate:
$17.50 - $18.50/hour DOE
Schedule:
This is a full-time, temporary position with a weekly schedule that can vary. Weekend shifts required. Shift times fall between 9am – 6pm.
