We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Hotel Manager for our newly remodeled boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Pismo Beach. Operating more like a short-term rental or Airbnb, this 20-room gem requires a dedicated manager to ensure an outstanding guest experience. In addition to managing our boutique hotel, the selected candidate will also play a pivotal role in overseeing nearby short-term rental units, contributing to the growth and success of our expanding hospitality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Oversee all aspects of guest relations, ensuring personalized and exceptional experiences for every visitor.

Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Cleaning Staff Management:

Schedule and manage the cleaning staff to maintain the highest cleanliness standards throughout the hotel and additional short-term rental units.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure all properties meet our quality standards.

Event Planning:

Assist in planning and coordinating events hosted at the hotel and nearby short-term rental units, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for special occasions.

Booking Integration:

Work with online and back-end booking integration software to manage reservations for multiple properties, optimizing occupancy rates.

Stay updated on industry trends and implement strategies for effective booking management.

Communication:

Establish and maintain effective communication channels with guests, staff, and management.

Address any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a quick and satisfactory resolution.

Property Management (Additional Short-Term Rental Units):

Extend your managerial expertise to nearby short-term rental units, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent quality standards across all properties.

Availability and Proximity:

Live in close proximity to the hotel and additional short-term rental units to respond promptly to any urgent matters.

Be available to visit properties at any time of day to address unexpected issues or emergencies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in hotel management, preferably in a boutique or similar setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with event planning and booking management software is a plus.

Flexibility in scheduling and a willingness to be available as needed.

Proximity to the hotel and additional short-term rental units is essential.
