Our new SLO restaurant is looking for a full-time cook for our open-concept scratch kitchen. We are looking for someone keen to join our small team and be an integral part of our mom-and-pop operation. Monday to Friday to start, moving into a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Lunch and dinner service
Applicants should be comfortable maintaining cleanliness and urgency during busy times and between service. Job-specific training will be provided, experience in a high-paced cooking environment is required. As we are an open kitchen, we aim to be warm, friendly and welcoming while preparing and serving top-quality cuisine
Duties include: food prep, hot grill, garde manger, dishes, general cleaning, stocking, customer service/taking orders, bussing tables
This staff member will get kitchen operation and management experience as they grow in their role at Hungry Mother
