OLD SLO at The Cape in Shell Beach, a fun surf & turf inspired restaurant featuring a large outdoor patio & beer wall is looking for qualified candidates that can assist in customer service, order fulfillment and kitchen duties. Owned by Old San Luis BBQ there is multiple location opportunities for the right candidates! Weekend availability a plus!
Kitchen Needs:
- Previous cooking experience on grill and fryers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Strong ability to multitask as needed
- Able to assemble food items consistently and communicate effectively!
- Have knowledge of general cleanliness!
(Obtaining a CA Food Handlers Card required with-in the first two weeks of employment)
- Honorable, a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as on a team during busy hours
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service
- Show professionalism in assisting in all order fulfillment needs
Qualifications:
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with customers, kitchen personnel and managers.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 - 8 hours).
