Tin City Cider came to fruition when a few winemakers decided that wine wasn't the only delicious, fermented beverage here on the Central Coast. Our goal is to produce carefully crafted ciders made with the best quality fruit the West Coast has to offer.
After an exciting 9 years in Tin City, Paso Robles, our company is in search of a passionate person, who wants to sell and serve delicious dry hard apple cider! We are looking for an energetic and positive cider tender to join our dynamic
and fun team, where we sell cider and have a great time doing it!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Outgoing and friendly personality while welcoming customers.
- Create a memorable experience for all TCC customers.
- Invite all visitors to join our cider club and share news of our upcoming events – trivia nights, food trucks, cider releases, etc.
- Ability to drive sales.
- Efficiently execute opening and closing procedures to a high standard.
- Answer tasting room phone calls professionally and field questions.
- Provide education about each of our ciders and cider-making techniques.
- Have a general knowledge of company history and sister companies.
- Handle routine point-of-sale transactions.
- Complete routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the general manager.
Qualifications:
- Thrives in a team environment with a positive attitude.
- Hospitality and bar experience preferred, but not required, we can train if this is your first bar job!
- High energy and ability to work well when there is a line out the door.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Kegs and bottle cases can be heavy!
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Although we are closed for most major holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years old. RBS certification is not required, but if you have it – amazing!
