La Cosecha Bar & Restaurant is seeking an experienced, professional bartender to join our team immediately:
Ideal Candidates would possess:
- A Genuine gift for hospitality and the desire offer our guests an awesome experience, every time. Not ok. Not Good. Awesome. The ability to cultivate relationships with our guests and ensure they return over and over again.
- A Team Oriented Work Ethic. We do this this together, always. We set each other up for success. No matter what we are outside these doors, we're best friends inside.
- Excellent Knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Beer, with an emphasis on Spanish and Local Varietals and producers.
- Working experience with the 6 Mother Cocktails and the ability to improvise and create around them.
- Flexible personal (or other) schedule that would allow for maximum scheduling. The ability to consistently commit to 3-4 weekly shifts working both days (9-10am to 3-4pm) and nights (3-4pm to 11-1).
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
- Current California Food Handler Certification and RBS certification.
- A sense of Style and Showmanship (showpersonship?). The ability to cultivate a following.
- 21+ years of age.
- Bilingual (Spanish) definitely a plus!
We are also seeking a Barback to consistently work Friday and Saturday Nights. An ideal barback would be a highly motivated hospitality professional looking to break into the bartending game through apprenticeship and on the job training:
- able to anticipate the needs of both our bartenders and ourt guests and fulfill those needs with minimal direction. Ice is always full, water is always full. Fridges are always stocked. Backup bottles are always ready.
- able to speak knowledgably about our food and drink.
- obsessivley clean and tidy.
- possess a genuine desire to learn and grow within our program and within the industry.
