Job Description: Energy Analyst (Full-time or Part-time with a flexible schedule)
Carstairs Energy has an opportunity in Los Osos for an Energy Analyst. The Energy Analyst will aid in the data collection for energy reports, using state approved software to prepare energy reports, and aid in the analysis of residential projects for HVAC design.
Analyze plans to identify mechanical, electrical, and envelope components for energy analysis.
Input data using state approved software for analysis and report completion.
Aid in the design of Residential HVAC systems using state approved computer software.
Process updates and changes to existing reports and occasionally speaks to clients regarding questions or updates.
Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field preferred
Knowledge of EnergyPRO
Knowledge of building science and ability to interpret construction plans.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating software.
