Above Grade Engineering is a successful land surveying and multi-discipline engineering firm with offices in Downtown San Luis Obispo. We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer interested in joining a growing team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3+ years' experience in land development, public works design and engineering (required);
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 or newer, with Civil 3D (required);
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required);
- CA State PE License (optional)
Typical job duties will include:
- Performing calculations for earthwork, drainage, and grading;
- Using technical knowledge to design plans for grading, drainage, utility, street improvements, storm drains, sanitary sewers, and water lines;
- Analyzing and recommending solutions to drainage problems; and,
- Communicating effectively with various departments, clients, and agencies.
