I'm a waterproofing consultant and I do SB326 balcony inspections and waterproofing consulting work.
The balcony bill requires a structural engineer or architect to stamp/sign the report. Last year I paid my engineer 6 figures+ so there's plenty of work out there.
I'm pondering whether to bring someone on board as an employee, or bring in a partner to expand my business into engineering services slash architectural, or partnering with an architect/SE to do balcony inspections and other work as an independent contractor
