Automotive Service Writer Needed

Job Summary: We are now taking applications for a service writer. The position is full or part time. Experience in the automotive field is a plus but not required. Family owned and operated since 1968, Miller's 76 has stayed true to the tradition of being a service station. We wash windows, check tires, provide assistance for gasoline fueling, and fill propane cylinders. We are a full automotive repair facility, providing oil changes, smog inspections, tune-ups, brake repair, air conditioning service and all general repairs. We are a fast paced shop looking for someone that pays attention to detail and shows a willingness to learn. We welcome those who are looking for a place to develop their skills and automotive knowledge. Full time position available. Hourly rate plus commission with the average pay of $17 to $19 per hour. Duties:

Welcome customers and assess customer needs

Communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.

Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs to customers.

Recommend additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.

Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.

Stay informed about automotive repair trends, products, and services to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
