United Staffing Associates is seeking a meticulous and reliable individual for a seasonal role in data entry and lab support at a winery in the Paso Robles Wine Region. This position is ideal for someone with experience in winery production environments with strong computer literacy who is looking to contribute to the smooth operation of the harvest season.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately manage and update wine inventory information in software system.
Collaborate with the winemaking team to create and complete work orders and documents.
Maintain and track chemical inventory with precision, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records.
Prepare and ship wine samples.
Perform Weighmaster duties as required.
Assist in pulling samples from tanks and barrels and conducting tank Brix checks.
Support the team with additional tasks as needed during the harvest period.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of winemaking processes.
At least one year of experience in a production winery environment.
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in wine tracking systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
Pay Rate:
$18 - $22 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday - Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with overtime during peak periods in order to meet production needs.
