HRF Powersports is looking for a experienced motorcycle & ATV mechanic/technician to work at our powersports dealership in Yreka, CA. This is a full time position working Tuesday through Saturday.
HRF Powersports is a small dealership in Yreka, California. We carry CFmoto, BETA motorcycles, Kymco, SSR Motorsports, and Kayo brands but we service most other brands as well.
Applicant will need to be able to do diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, scooters, and similar vehicles. They identify mechanical and electrical problems, perform repairs and replacements, and ensure the motorcycle is in optimal condition.
We would prefer you to have at least 3 years experience in the trade, must have a valid drivers license with M1 endorsement.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair: Identifying and fixing mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintenance: Performing routine services like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Component Replacement: Replacing worn or defective parts, including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
Rebuilding Engines: Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling motorcycle engines.
Troubleshooting: Using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems.
Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers about repairs, maintenance, and costs.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Skills and Knowledge:
Mechanical and electrical knowledge: Understanding motorcycle systems, components, and functions.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
Manual dexterity: Working with tools and equipment to make repairs.
Communication and customer service skills: Communicating with customers and explaining repairs.
Physical ability: Lifting heavy parts and working in various positions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Safety: Ensuring that repairs are performed safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Working Conditions: May work in garages, workshops, or depots, and may encounter various weather conditions if performing on-site repairs
