Etna Brewing Co. is one of the oldest breweries on the west coast and an award-winning brewery that has been producing amazing beers for 152 years. We are rapidly growing and expanding our reach in northern California and the southern Oregon market.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Brewer/Cellarman to join our incredible production team. Candidates must be friendly, eager to learn, detailed oriented, capable of following directions and overall passionate about craft beer.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Assist brewers on brew days and when needed
Complete required tasks for each recipe (drops, dry hops, fruiting, etc.)
Weigh Out and Mill Grain
CIP and Sanitizing of Fermenters
Gravity and pH checks
Kegging and Canning
Keg Washing
Restock and Organize Cold Boxes
Brewery, Taproom and Facility Maintenance
Inventory
And other duties as needed
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to lift more than 55lbs
Must be able to complete in house forklift training
Must be able to safely work on ladders
Must have a safety-first mindset and follow all SOP/Safety guidelines
Must be extremely detailed and have a passion for craft beer
Must be 21years or older and have a valid California Driver’s License

Experience:
Brewing Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute: Etna/Fort Jones, CA (Required)
