FARM TO FORK RANCH
Easy Street Yreka, CA 96097
Area: Year-Round Ranch Steward (adults 18 and older)
Reports To: John & Bonnie/Owners
Compensation; Fully furnished tiny home including all utilities and access to seasonal
expanding veggie garden and farm fresh eggs.
Hours: Flexible 12.5 hrs./week Note: start and end times are based on time of year and
considerations for offsite work.
Dates of Part-Time Employment: flexible
Permaculture Center and Farm:
Envision a place where you can learn, work and live through cultivating sustainable practices for
living in our world today.
Farm to Fork is an evolving property which includes a working organic orchard, Oak woodland,
seasonal pond and organic garden. Livestock include Llama and chickens.
Primary Duties:
Care taker for the property including livestock, garden and property development. Training in
building trades, sustainable agriculture and agroecology though some experience is preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Summer duties include watering and garden maintenance.
Fall duties include cutting and stacking wood.
Winter project planning tractor work.
Spring; Garden Prep and planting. Begin construction work
Year-round animal care; watering and feeding.
Physical Requirements:
Adhere to requirements for protective clothing (hat, sunglasses, durable sneakers or
boots and PPE’s) for warm or cold weather and direct sunlight while out on the property.
Stand/lift (10lbs-20lbs)/bend/squat/kneel in a fast paced, outdoor setting.
