Landscape Crew Member – General Laborer
Summary
NGN Inc. is looking for a general laborer to join their landscape crew to serve clientele by providing property maintenance services which mostly includes raking, weeding, and pruning plants. The candidate will also be assisting with irrigation repairs, and completing installations under the supervision of a contractor. This is a full time, seasonal position that typically runs from late-March through November depending on weather. The position requires the candidate be reliable, friendly, maintain a strong work ethic, and be able to work in a team setting. Compensation is $18 an hour.
Qualifications
Technical
-Experience working with common power and hand tools.
-Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform strenuous work on a regular basis under a variety of weather conditions.
-Have a valid driver’s license.
Communication
-Participate in maintaining daily records of work completed and materials used.
-Report in a timely manner to the supervisor regarding client requests, complaints, or any issues observed on their property.
- Reach out to the supervisor in a timely manner with questions or clarification needed about work performance and tasks.
-Be able to be supervised when needed and receive feedback on quality of work to ensure the standards that our clients expect are being met.
-Communicate with other staff, supervisors, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
