DescriptionCome build the future of business intelligence tools for Amazon Transportation.We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to support the Ship Tech business in Transportation & Recipient Experience (TRX). TRX is a design studio responsible for supporting products that power the interconnected system of shipping, transportation, and seller fulfillment experiences for Amazon Worldwide Operations. Our products are a critical piece in customers receiving their items on time as expected. We collaborate with product managers, developers, researchers, and executives to invent world-class multi-modal products and services leveraging our design system, Meridian.Amazon's ShipTech offers business intelligence products to our customers including Operations, Finance, Technology, HR, Marketing and more. The team is looking for a Senior UX designer to take ownership in building internal business intelligence tools and dashboards that will be used across all levels in the company to improve how Amazon delivers.You will get to utilize your skills from discovery research to design execution, traveling to our internal customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that unify and streamline how complex information is presented to improve Amazon's network of shipping.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you'll deliver solutions for complex business and technical problems where the product strategy and focus is not always defined. You will partner with your product and engineering teams to identify and prioritize customer outcomes, improving how we collaborate across the organization as you go along. You will drive design excellence by unifying and improving design patterns, standards and methods while driving adoption of these across teams. You will be expected to be well versed in stakeholder management and will lead and present in cross-org reviews using your storytelling superpowers to influence and keep the team focused. Your attention to detail at the pixel level will only be matched by your focus on making sure your designs are feasible and data driven.About the teamYou will be joining a dedicated team of designers who believe if you aren't having fun while working hard, you're doing it wrong. 8+ years of design experience

Have an available online portfolio

Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax

Preferred Qualifications

Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes

Experience with UX design of complex workflows

The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market.
